Multi Wagon kill off Multipla?

Glass's Information Services has warned that the new Stilo Multi Wagon will kill off any lingering demand for the “unloved and slow-selling” Fiat Multipla.

The new Multi Wagon will compete in the compact MPV market against cars such as the 307SW, Corolla Verso and forthcoming Focus C-Max.

Jeff Paterson, Glass's senior car editor, says: "The Stilo five door is struggling and you have to ask if the Multi Wagon will suffer a similar fate, even though it is launched into the popular compact MPV sector. I don't expect volumes to be particularly high but it should certainly outsell the Multipla."
