A Cheshire-based valeting products importer wants to raise the profile of a Netherlands manufactured car care products range, to enable it to compete in the UK trade’s premium sector.

Mike Bradley, MD of Kestrel Sales and Marketing, believes the Cartec brand has what it takes to become a major force here.

“Think of it as an Autoglym. It’s the number one seller in Holland and is among the best-selling brands across Europe.

“It just needs a little help here, and some extra distributors,” says Bradley, who currently supplies 15 appointed UK Cartec agents on a next-day basis from his warehouse in Ellesmere Port.

He is hoping to grow the distribution network to about 50 members, strategically and geographically spread around the country.

“The products are right for the trade, especially for contract valeting companies, but we do need the right distributors with us,” says Bradley.

“I’d like to hear from independent operators who are looking to add to their profitability by representing a brand that is on the rise.”
