VW said the new plan provides ‘easy budgeting and transparent pricing’ for retail customers purchasing a new Fox, Polo, Golf, Golf Plus, Golf estate, Jetta or Touran. Customers can opt for a fixed-price service plan for £200 for three years/30,000 miles.
Nigel Brotherton, head of loyalty at Volkswagen UK. said: “Our research shows that customers like to have their vehicles looked after and maintained within the Volkswagen retailer network, but there is a perception that this is expensive.
“They also like to know in advance what their servicing costs will be. This plan gives customers simple, transparent pricing and great value for money, as well as the reassurance which comes from knowing their service has been carried out by our experienced and highly trained technicians within the Volkswagen network.”
VW is allowing the service plan to be transferred to new owners if the vehicle is sold before three years or 30,000 miles.
The service plan is offered through Volkswagen Finance, but is open to all retail customers, not just those purchasing with finance.
The offer applies to routine servicing and excludes maintenance and other items.
