The company has revised the brand’s product portfolio following its purchase last October, two months after previous owner Solvitol was put into administration.
Add-It will now comprise two product ranges – Hy-Tec and Extra – with improved formulations and new bottle designs and packaging for each product.
James Briggs is now seeking distributors for the range. A spokesman says it is already responding to sales from independent garages and franchised workshops.
“With service intervals increasing and fuel companies now actively promoting the use of treatments in their oil, there has never been a better time for the aftermarket to sell additives,” adds the spokesman.
