Eastern Western Motor Group has completed the refurbishment of its Edinburgh West and Fife Nissan dealerships.

The AM100 car retail group has become the Japanese brand’s latest franchisee to adopt a new corporate identity (CI) featuring its new logo and signage.

The work has been carried out at Western Nissan Edinburgh West, in Skene Place, Newbridge; and Western Nissan Fife, in Halbeath, Dunfermline.

Andrew Oag, Nissan franchise director at Eastern Western Motor Group, said: “We’re delighted that these two fantastic dealerships have been brought up to date in such stylish and eye-catching way.

“Feedback from our staff and customers has been excellent. We’ve been looking after our valued customers during the refurbishment works and we thank them for their patience and support.”

Scottish car retailer Eastern Western Motor Group reported a 102.5% uplift in pre-tax profits and 23% revenue growth when it published its annual financial results for 2021 back in November last year.

PBT rose to £32 million (2020: ££15.8m) as turnover grew from £665m to £818m at the Edinburgh-based car retail operation which grew its Nissan representation with the acquisition of Alex F. Noble during the 12-month period to December 31.

The group is targeting further growth in 2023.

After joining the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles franchise with the opening of a dealership in Edinburgh back in February, it gained permission to redevelop Dundee’s former Levi’s jeans factory site to accommodate new Toyota and Lexus car dealerships.

Dundee City Council gave its approval for the new development in November, almost a year after the location off Dunsinane Avenue, near to Peter Vardy Carz used car dealership off the A90 in Dundee, was cleared by bulldozers.
