Kia has revealed the latest iteration of its best-selling Sportage SUV in a bid to maintain its lead in the competitive compact SUV segment.
Set to arrive in showrooms in the final quarter of 2025, the new Sportage features a shorter wheelbase specifically developed for European roads. Petrol and hybrid (HEV) variants will be available from launch. Full pricing and specifications will be confirmed closer to launch.
Inside, the cabin features a modern two-spoke steering wheel, a dashboard with concealed air vents, and upgraded seat materials.
Rear passengers benefit from over one metre of legroom, while cargo capacity reaches up to 1,776 litres with the rear seats folded. HEV models also gain a dual-level cargo floor for added practicality.
Tech-wise, twin 12.3-inch curved displays, a 10-inch head-up display, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Kia Connect and over-the-air software updates come as standard while a new climate and audio touchpad and 360-degree Surround View Monitor with 3D imaging further raise the bar.
A suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) is offered as standard. These include Auto Emergency Braking with pedestrian, cyclist and vehicle detection, Highway Driving Assist 2 with adaptive cruise control and lane change assist.
The new Kia Sportage will be built at Kia’s manufacturing facility in Žilina, Slovakia.
