14 Audi Q2 2016

Audi has revealed details of the new Q2 compact SUV, which is expected to reach showrooms in the autumn, with order books open in the summer.

The Q2 will sit below the Q3.

Audi said at the Geneva Motor Show, which opened today, the car will be launched with six engines, three TFSI petrol and three TDI diesel engines with between 116hp and 190hp of power output.

Vehicles can be optionally fitted with Audi's virtual cockpit dashboard screen, first seen on the TT.

A head-up display projects vehicle data, including navigation instructions and driving speed, into the driver’s eye line.

Audi online services can display, for instance, parking place information, fuel prices or the latest news on the screen of the infotainment system.

Safety systems include adaptive cruise control with ‘stop & go’ function and traffic jam assist.

Quattro permanent all-wheel drive system is standard with the top TDI and the 2.0 TFSI.
