A special edition of the Vauxhall Astra Coupe, the SE1, is available now, based on the Coupe Edition and priced from £15,495.

Only 300 will be built, all in Europa Blue, 200 equipped with a 1.8-litre 16v engine and the remainder with a 2.2-litre 16v engine.

Standard equipment includes 17-inch alloy wheels, lowered sports suspension, rear spoiler, blue Alcantara seat trim, leather covered sports steering wheel, matching blue seat belts and aluminium gear knob. The 2.2 also gets cruise control.

Other standard features include ABS, air con, twin airbags, remote control central locking, traction control, front fog lights and CD/radio stereo.

The 1.8 is £15,495 and 2.2 £16,245 OTR.
