The role
As a Part- Time Car Valeter you will help maintain our fleet of vehicles to an acceptable standard for our customers at Air Command and RAF High Wycombe.
Day to day, you'll support our existing team in maintaining our fleet of vehicles to the high standard expected by our military customers. The Vehicle Valet is responsible to the Transport Services Manager via the Transport Services Senior Controller for:
The refuelling, washing, vacuuming, checking of vehicle fluids and tyre condition of all vehicles as required. All vehicles to be completed to a high standard and signed for on completion.
Report all vehicle defects to MT Control.
Report all automatic car wash defects to MT Control.
Work 20 hours per week adjusting start and finish times dependent on time of year.Essential experience of the Part-Time Car Valeter
Have good interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with people.
Can effectively work independently and be team focused.
Demonstrate a capability to deliver excellent customer service.This role offers Part-Time work hours (4 hours per day Monday to Friday (ideally in the afternoon).
Qualifications for the Part- Time Car Valeter
Full entitlement Category B (Car) DVLA Driving Licence with at least 1 year of driving experience.The successful candidate must be able to achieve basic security clearance level for this role.
