Whether it is minor car park damage or a road traffic accident their 30+ repair centres provide a range of services that use modern repair methods to put your vehicle back to its pre-accident condition, ensuring they repair every vehicle with utmost pride and care.
They are now actively looking to recruit for an experienced Parts Advisor based from their site in Aston, Birmingham.
As Parts Advisor, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of the parts department, getting the right parts to the workshop, minimising our key-to-key time and getting our customers back in their cars as quickly as possible.
The key characteristics of this job role detailed below must be delivered consistently in line with the business processes:
Full stock management, allocating parts into stock and stockroom organisation
Accepting Deliveries, booking parts onto the Autoflow management system
Chasing parts orders, back orders, getting updates and sending feedback to the shop floor
Deal with returned parts awaiting credit - sending proof of returns to dealers, booking on of credit notes onto the jobs & scanning and attaching to the job, scanning over of copies to purchase ledge
Live updates of communications and orders on management systems
Acting on queries from suppliers & sites
Generating supplier reports
These tasks require excellent organisational skills with an attention to detail.
This is high volume repairs carried out to the BSI PAS 10125 standards
About You
We are looking for someone who is expert in their trade, professional, conscientious, organised, committed to excellence, exceptional attention to detail and customer focussed.
Ideally you will have experience within a bodyshop environment and be used to dealing with high volumes of work in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to multitask and need to be able to hit the ground running.
You must be able to:
Prioritise daily workload and respond to urgent and immediate changes
Ensure correct parts are available whilst the vehicle repair process is being carried out
Work pro-actively on your own initiative with minimal supervision
Ensure that parts returns are done within the required time scales and all credit notes are chased
Work accurately under pressure
Pay close attention to detail
Communications skills are paramount to your role, as it has a direct impact on production on the site
Be flexible in your approach
Continually work to high standards with customer satisfaction in mind.
