Are you a passionate individual looking for an exciting role? Scania GB are looking for a proactive individual to fulfil the role as a Technical Engineer. The successful candidate will have proven Workshop technical expertise, experience, skills, training, and competence to provide remote expert support of all Scania products and services. As a Technical Engineer you will also support Scania workshops and customers with technical investigations and support in the field.
SKILL SET:
- Experience of Roadside Breakdown or a Field based role
- Working alongside the Technical Support team in a dual role covering Technical Support and Product Quality
- Manage the day-to-day administration and technical investigations, handling technical support cases using Scania systems
- Coordinate and interact with workshops to ensure a structured and documented approach to troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Technical investigation and solution (working closely with Services and Sweden)
- Liaising with Scania CV, Sweden on technical matters via Global Technical Support, Field Quality and Research and Development to achieve timely solutions
- Production of Technical Information, content, and media
- Support at Technical Product Meetings and internal meetings as required
- Development of Technical infrastructure, development, and solutions to ensure Scania keeps the lead in the industry
CHARACTER:
- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills
- Computer literate
- Always demonstrate trustworthiness and integrity
- The ability to work on own initiative under pressure and as a team player in a busy department and cross-functionally.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbally, with high customer service skills
- Excellent organisational skills
