Automotive Management's editorial team is to nominate leading retail motor industry companies for its 2002 Awards. Firms will still be able to take the initiative and enter the 12 categories, to be listed in the October 26 issue of Automotive Management.

Awards' night will be on February 13 at the International Convention Centre, Birmingham. There will be categories for manufacturers, aftersales specialists and used car operations.

The judging panel will be chaired by Automotive Management editor Tony Willard, who said: “Too often, some of the best businesses do not step forward. Our team will identify potential winners and encourage them to enter.”

A team of specialists at Mitac Performance Development will conduct quality audits of short-listed entrants.
