Automotive Management's People Fair 2001 has been rescheduled. The event will now take place on February 13, 2002 – not November 15 as originally planned – and will be held at the International Convention Centre, Birmingham.

The Automotive Management Awards Dinner is being held on the evening of February 13, also at the ICC. It is hoped the new timing will prove more convenient to delegates.

One of the leading speakers at the event is John Gambles, a partner in Quadrangle Consulting and a leading consultant working with the Department of Trade and Industry.

He will question how the industry can ensure it has the quality of retail management needed to transform dealership performance.

Mr Gambles will draw on the work Quadrangle has done with the Retail Forum which is bringing together the industry and the DTI to explore new ways to improve retail performance. The title of the speech will be “How 'good' managers are”.
