Dixon Motors has created a new operations board. The 10-strong team are drawn from all areas of the group and is designed to improve communication, operational activity and team support.

Led by Simon Dixon, group managing director, the team comprises Sal Cuillo, car division managing director, Chris Elton, finance director, IT director Kevin Foley, Ian Franks, group finance controller and company secretary, David Morrow, bike division managing director, director of human resources Trevor Parker, director of direct business Noel Parkinson, director of distribution Bill Squires and director of bodyshops Barry Whittles.

Mr Dixon said: "Dixon's success and growth has been, in part, due to our ability to think ahead, plan for the future and act quickly upon our innovative ideas. The operational board's main focus will be to deliver the company's business plan and ensure the tasks and objectives set by the main board are executed."
