The three main unions representing Fiat workers in Italy facing more than 8,000 redundancies under the ailing carmaker's business recovery plan have announed strikes.

A half-day stoppage has already been scheduled for the end of this month. But now the workers are also set to voice their opposition to the redundancies via a one-day strike on 15 November at all Fiat sites.
