AM's autumn conference is to be staged at the British International Motor Show on October 24 in association with the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders. A line-up of influential speakers will focus on key topics relating to new cars produced in the future by manufacturers working under competitive, legislative and financial pressures.

The AM conference will be held on The Daily Telegraph Preview Day at the NEC, Birmingham. Admission to the show will be included in the conference admission price. “We believe the Motor Show is the perfect place for AM's autumn conference,” says AM editor Angus MacKenzie. “The event will finish early enough for delegates to then go and see all the latest products.”

An SMMT spokesman says: “We are glad AM wants its conference to be at the Motor Show which is the industry's big UK showcase. Delegates will be able to combine a high level business briefing and see all the innovations in one day.”
