British Car Auctions has opened a new auction centre in Glasgow as part of the group's major network redevelopment programme.

The multi-million pound centre has an undercover viewing area with space for up to 300 cars and a new auction hall, which saw 600 vehicles go under the hammer in its first week of trading.

The new site has a full range of customer services and facilities including a cafeteria. The next phase of development involves the demolition of the former Glasgow sales building to make way for a car park.

Officially open on November 5, BCA Glasgow is one of three BCA centres in Scotland alongside Edinburgh and Newmains.
