RMI chief executive Matthew Carrington, speaking at the Garage Equipment Association (GEA) annual dinner last week, said “We are contacting all manufacturers, and although they have agreed to provide the information in principle, most have not said how this information will be delivered. It must be in a readily accessible format, and at an affordable price.”

Carrington added: “The RMI, in collaboration with the GEA, is currently lobbying Westminster, the European Commission, and enforcement agencies to make technical information available via an accessible format. It is imperative that vehicle manufacturers, stakeholders, and Government work with us to find a practical solution.”
