Volkswagen is lowering Golf prices and improving specification.

Reductions range from £150 on the Golf S, to £910 on Golf GT FSI/GT TDI models.

Customers can now choose between the Golf SE starting from £14,630 OTR, or the sportier specification Golf Sport for £14,900 OTR.

In addition to the price changes, Golf S models now get climatic air conditioning as a permanent standard feature, with the Golf SE gaining rear electric windows (on five-door models) and a convenience pack as part of its standard specification.

The convenience pack includes coming/leaving home lighting with automatic headlights on; automatic dimming rear view mirror; rain sensor and front footwell illumination.

The Golf range now starts from £11,845 OTR for the S 1.4-litre 73bhp three-door. The recently launched GTI model is unaffected by the price and specification changes.
