The British International Motor Show (July 20-30, at ExCel, London) will feature its first careers village.

The aim is to provide information needed by students, school leavers, graduates and adults. Kirsty Adams, the show’s marketing director, says: “We want to encourage people to think about joining the retail, maintenance and repair industries.”

Interactive displays will highlight modern technology used in the industry. Experts from all levels and sectors of the industry will be on hand to give visitors practical advice on the industry, including manufacturing, engineering, science, research, management, sales and maintenance.
