The latest appointments in the automotive industry.

Peter Vardy has appointed ex-Audi Academy and Carter & Carter manager Anita Douglas as human resources manager and Craig Macfarlane, former Reg Vardy dealership accountant, as franchise development manager. It suggests further growth for the business is imminent.

JCT600 has appointed Paul Smith as Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge brand director. The 38-year-old former footballer has been in the automotive industry for 19 years, most recently with Reg Vardy.

Steve McNulty has been appointed Lexus corporate sales specialist at Mitchell Group’s Lexus Chester dealership in Cheshire Oaks.

CAP has appointed Steven Worrell as key account manager, major dealer groups. He will focus on developing CAP’s partnerships among the UK’s largest 50 dealer groups.

Rupinder Sodhi has been appointed marketing manager at Comma Oil and Chemicals. Sodhi has been with Comma since 2001. Meanwhile, Mark Whitmill has taken on the role of communications manager, which will see him responsible external and internal communications as well as events management.

Julian Baldwin has been appointed managing director for UK and Europe by Cooper Tire and Rubber Company.
