Pendragon’s new £2.5m Porsche centre in Bolton opened its doors to the public on August 1.

Designed by architects Unwin Jones and located on Manchester Road, Bolton, alongside the A666, the site has 10 service bays and two PDI/valet bays. There is no MoT testing facility.

“We chose this site because it offered a strategic location to improve service to existing customers in the north Manchester area and to fill a gap in the overall Porsche network to satisfy the needs of Porsche customers,” says a spokeswoman for Pendragon.

The premises, built from scratch on the site of a demolished Rover showroom and workshop, can house up to 22 cars inside and is the group’s third Porsche franchise.

“Outside there is space for 150 vehicles, but only 15 will be on display at any one time,” says Ian Carter of Talbot Construction, the builders in charge of the project.
