Dealer groups interested in the brake reconditioning market are being offered a new solution with Hunger brake service machines.

Weber-Hydraulik has been awarded the contract to become the German manufacturer’s sole distributor in the UK and will market the product through its representative network.

“The market for reconditioned brakes is already fairly large,” says Tony Jerome, director of Weber-Hydraulik. “Discs aren’t getting any cheaper and more people are realizing that they can be skimmed back to make them like new.”

Jerome expects the E326a – a semi-automatic lathe used to machine brake discs – to be one of the best-sellers in the range, which includes brake shoe grinders, riveting machines and lining lathes.
