Fast-fit programmes: Are they worth the investment?

As EU Block Exemption regulations erode franchised dealers’ share of the service market for new cars, customer retention among older car owners has never been more important.

Manufacturer fast-fit programmes can provide a low investment solution, bringing cars back into the network and keeping existing customers. But, faced with a declining service market, advancing technology and existing independent outlets with a loyal customer base, are they worth the investment?
