How did you get into the automotive business?
My father was a Ford dealer in Glasgow in the 50s and 60s so I was destined for the motor trade before I could walk or talk.

What does your job entail?
To make sure I have the best performers in the industry, working together as a team driving the business forward.

How will your job change over the next few years?
Less involved operational issues as my colleagues become more experienced and more involved with manufacturing partners’ changes in processes and procedures. I will eventually become more involved with succession planning.

Join a company or group that can offer a clear career path planned around each colleague.

Associate director for a recruitment company.
