Skoda has revealed the facelifted version of its Octavia which brings it in line with the company’s latest design cues.

The new Octavia made its debut at the Paris Motor Show today and takes shares a similar front end to the Superb which went on sale earlier this year.

Skoda has also updated the interior with new audio and navigation systems. The steering wheel, the dashboard (white-backlit), the air conditioning controls and the decorative strips on the doors and the central console have also been redesigned.

Customers will also be able to choose a new 1.4 TSI engine with the revised Octavia which can be mated with a Volkswagen’s seven-speed twin-clutch automatic DSG transmission.

Skoda hasn't announced when the revised version will be going on sale in the UK yet.
