Andrew Sproston has joined Fiat Group Automobiles UK in the newly created role of sales director for the Fiat brand.

Sproston indirectly takes over from Andy Rowe, who was previously commercial director but has now become head of dealer development.

Sproston moves to Fiat from Hyundai where he was direct & retail operations manager, we he has also held the positions of national sales operations manager and retail finance manager.

Fiat has appointed Neill Richards as regional corporate sales manager to build the Italian brand’s profile with fleets in the North of England.

Richards joins four other regional corporate sales managers who form the Fiat corporate sales team, headed by national corporate sales manager James McMenamin.

Richards has years of experience working within the corporate motoring sector, with previous roles in Kwik Fit fleet and Skoda Auto.

Adam Pumfrey, Fiat’s fleet and remarketing director, said: "The Grande Punto and Bravo models are becoming increasingly attractive to the fleet market, and with the introduction of new engines such as the recently launched low emission 1.6 105 diesel engine, we are confident of gaining new ground within fleets."
