Citroën business centres to target LCV customers

Citroën has launched a business centre programme following a successful pilot last year.

Around 60 outlets are already in operation, with the complete 90 sites expected to be running by mid-year.

Accounting for almost half of Citroën’s dealer network, centres will be based in all major conurbations, said a spokesman.
The scheme is intended to offer LCV customers improved sales and aftersales service.

Participation in the programme was optional and dealers taking part must invest in additional facilities, staffing and training.

Centres will have increased numbers of LCV demonstrators and used vehicles as well as extended service department opening hours, a wider range of while-you-wait service operations and courtesy vans.

They will also stock a wider range of new Citroën LCVs, including new Relay Specialist vehicles and models from Citroën’s Ready to Run programme.

Neville Staines, national business centre manager, said: “Small and medium-sized LCV and car fleet customers require more specialist support – and the new business centre network provides this.”

Commercial vehicle operations manager Robert Handyside added: “Citroën believes the new business centre programme will enable the company to provide an unrivalled level of sales and aftersales support for its LCV customers.”
