Daimler has announced plans to reduce the hours and pay of 73,000 non-production workers.
It will ask workers in administration, sales and research roles to work 30 rather than 35 hours per week, and take a 14% pay cut, reports Bloomberg.com.
It wants to reduce annual labour costs to 10 billion euros.
