Two more speakers have been confirmed for AM’s Used Car Market Conference 2010 on September 29 at the National Motorcycle Museum near Birmingham.

Dermot Halpin, Autoquake.com chief executive officer, will be talking about online sales and how techniques are changing in the online retail landscape. The session will look at the key issues that need to be considered, ranging from site design through to online promotion and email database management; all coming from an AM award winning web pioneer.

Professor Peter Cooke, KPMG professor of automotive management, University of Buckingham, will be reviewing the latest BCA Used Car Market Report 2010 with analysis and dealer implications.

Cooke will be looking at the strategic implications - for sales and for other dealership activities. He will also explain how dealers might use the report’s findings to profitably develop their own activities.
