Car sales website Netcars.com has been awarded the title of ‘Best Online Car Sales Portal 2011’ by the Institute of Transport Management (ITM).

Praised for its "credible and extensive stock displays" and user friendliness, the judges also commended Netcars.com on its Google-inspired ‘payment by results’ model, where dealers can list their fleet for free and only pay when enquiry ‘click throughs’ to the dealers’ website are received.

Speaking about the award Patrick Sheedy, media and PR director for the ITM, said: “The consensus amongst users of the Netcars.com site is that it rates highly across the board and that it gets the job done. Whether you want to buy a second hand car or sell 50 of them, the site is easy to navigate, well visited and filled with extra useful features.”

Reg Rix, managing director at Netcars.com, said: “As a motoring portal, it’s encouraging to hear that dealers not only rate our website, but value the additional features in place, such as our advice forum and blogs section.”
