The new managing director of Nissan GB says he’s inherited a strong business with great product opportunities and a positive dealer network.

Jim Wright commended the work done by his predecessor Paul Willcox in bringing new retailers on board and told AM the feedback from his team is that the network is in “a pretty good state” and there is “positive feeling”.

Wright also said Willcox had been “transparent and direct” about what was required in order for Nissan GB to grow, and this is something that he will continue.

“Speaking to the dealer council, we have a positive and transparent relationship. It would be a mistake to change that,” Wright added.
