A man who ordered an assault on the boss of Sterry Bridge Autos over an alleged £250,000 debt has been sent to prison.

Lee Martin of Epsom hired two heavies to accompany him to Sterry Bridge Autos in Bagshot on June 8.

He demanded dealer Francis Bridgman hand over keys and log books for around 40 cars to settle a debt he claimed was owned by Bridgman's father.

Martin was convicted of robbery and sentenced to 20 months prison by Guildford Crown Court last Friday.
