Mike Gadd has taken the helm as vice president of retail DMS at Pentana.
Gadd has 20 years experience in the dealer management systems industry, most recently with ADP Dealer Services and previously with Kerridge and Kalamazoo-Reynolds.
Pentana described his appointment as of strategic importance, and said Gadd is passionate about a viable, alternative DMS provider succeeding in the UK and he will use his experience to fast track availability of Pentana's DealerPro DMS to British dealers.
DealerPro is already in use by more than 400 dealer groups in Europe.
Gadd said: "We recognise that there is need in the UK for a supplier which communicates, listens and reacts to the requirements of dealers and OEMs alike. Our focus is to build committed and responsive partnerships with all of our customers."
As editor, Tim is responsible for the media content, planning and production of AM's multiple channels (AM print and digital magazines, website, social media and contributing to our events planning). He interviews and writes about as many franchised dealer groups and UK divisions of motor manufacturers as possible, to explore the issues facing UK motor retail and understand what solutions dealers and suppliers are using to overcome these.
