Skoda has launched a Monte Carlo specification for its Citigo which is priced from £10,590.

The new trim level is available in three and five-door body styles and is based on the mid-range SE grade.

Standard equipment includes black external design elements, alloy wheels, front and rear spoiler, rear diffuser, grille and door mirrors. The car also comes with lowered suspension.

Interior features include a sports steering wheel and Monte Carlo red/black upholstery. A PID (portable infotainment device) is also standard, offering satellite navigation, trip and vehicle information, Bluetooth connectivity and a media player.

The Citigo Monte Carlo is available with a three-cylinder 1.0-litre 58bhp mated to a five-speed manual transmission with 62.8mpg and emissions of 105g/km CO2.

The three-door model costs £10,590 while the five-door version is priced £10,940.
