Honda UK has appointed six dealers to sell motorcycles to fleet customers.

It claims to be the first manufacturer in the country to introduce a specialist motorcycle fleet dealer network, aiming to grow the corporate market and provide the best in support and advice to business customers.

The dealerships include Chiswick Honda in London, part of Norton Way Group, Brindley Honda in Wolverhampton, part of Brindley Garages Group, and Lings Honda at Harleston, part of The Lings Group, all of which are also Honda car franchisees.

Honda said the move aims to increase sales of motorcycles to the corporate sector by offering specialist knowledge and a professional service; and by emphasising the many benefits of doing business on two-wheels, and on a Honda, such as low CO2 and high fuel  economy, increased productivity through beating congestion, cost savings such as road tax, parking and congestion charge, and lower Benefit in Kind taxes.

Honda (UK) is supporting the new fleet dealer network; promoting these messages at industry events including Fleet World and CCIA, and establishing a fleet working group and an SMR system for motorcycles.
