Family-owned dealer group W.Brindley has reported a growth in turnover, but a reduction in profits.

According to accounts on Companies House to November 30 turnover for the Wolverhampton-based dealer – that trades as Brindley Garages Group - is at £160.6 million, up 1.4% from £158.4m the previous year.

But profit before tax has gone from £1.2m to £299,000 (- 75%).

Return on sale was 0.19% in 2015 – 0.77% in 2014.

EBITDA is £831,000 (2014: £1.7m).

Brindley claims to be the largest family owned dealer group in the West Midlands with dealerships in Cannock, Wolverhampton, West Bromwich and Tipton.

It has eight new car franchises: Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Vauxhall and Volvo. And it offers Chevrolet, Citroen and Saab servicing.
