The SsangYong Tivoli has been made available through the Motability Scheme, allowing disabled motorists to lease a new Tivoli using their higher rate mobility allowance.

Following in the tyre tracks of the seven-seat Turismo MPV, which was made available through the scheme last year, applicants can choose from both diesel and petrol versions of SsangYong’s Tivoli SUV.

An advanced payment of just £99 is commanded by the entry-level Tivoli 1.6 petrol SE manual, rising to £499 for the Tivoli 1.6 diesel SE manual.

Paul Williams, CEO of SsangYong Motor UK, said: “The Motability Scheme is unquestionably helping a lot of disabled people to get mobile, and we’re delighted to be broadening the range of SsangYong cars available.

“With prices starting from just £99 Advance Payment for Motability Scheme customers, there is a car to suit almost everyone.”

In the Tivoli, those eligible for the scheme can choose from SE, EX, ELX trim levels and the choice of 1.6 litre Euro 6 petrol and diesel engines, 6sp manual or 6sp automatic gearboxes.

More than four million UK residents have become mobile thanks to the Motability scheme, which allows customers to enjoy worry-free motoring thanks to the inclusion of insurance, breakdown cover, servicing, tyres and windscreen replacement.
