Christopher Walkinshaw has joined the board of Marshall Motor Holdings, the UK’s seventh largest franchised dealer group.
Walkinshaw is the group communications director of Marshall of Cambridge, the majority shareholder of Marshall Motor Holdings.
Before taking that role in 2011, he had worked at Marshall Motor Group for 12 years as business development director.
In April 2015, Marshall of Cambridge floated its car dealer group on the alternative investments market (AIM).
As editor, Tim is responsible for the media content, planning and production of AM's multiple channels (AM print and digital magazines, website, social media and contributing to our events planning). He interviews and writes about as many franchised dealer groups and UK divisions of motor manufacturers as possible, to explore the issues facing UK motor retail and understand what solutions dealers and suppliers are using to overcome these.
