Mini has appointed Steve Roberts into the new role of head of corporate and used cars.

Roberts was previously product operations manager at BMW. His role will be to grow the brand’s fleet business, on the back of recent launches including the Clubman and five-door hatch.

Roberts (pictured) said: "Since the launch of the five-door hatch in September 2014, we have seen Mini's influence in the corporate sector increase exponentially."

Roberts reports to national sales manager Rob Turnbull, as James Morrison leaves his role as corporate development manager.
