AM100 contender TMS Motor Group is making several key leadership appointments aimed at driving growth, enhancing operational efficiency, and maintaining exceptional customer service.

Len Hallows will continue to serve as chief executive of the family-run group, while Ben Hallows, Tom Hallows, Dominic Hallows and Oliver Hallows have all been promoted to joint managing directors to help shape the group’s strategic direction.

Further strengthening the company’s leadership, Arran Chinn, Jas Kandola, and Jonny Paton have been appointed to the board of directors. Derek Kerr remains finance director.

The senior leadership team also welcomes David Thompson, whose leadership in marketing operations has earned him a key role.

Additionally, Jeremy Jones and Luke Collett have been appointed as heads of business at Coventry Volvo and Loughborough Kia, respectively.

Late last year, TMS took over Loughborough Kia, which had been owned by the Johnson family since the Kia franchise was taken on in 2003 by company founder Clifford Johnson.

The recent phase of expansion has led TMS, owned by Hallows and run by his sons, to now have three Kia dealerships at Leicester, Hinckley and Loughborough plus three Volvo dealerships at Leicester, Hinckley and Coventry.

It leaves the group knocking on the door of the AM100 as it gains scale and nears the turnover threshold to feature in the UK's 100 biggest franchised dealer groups
