Volkswagen Group UK has announced a major new supplier partnership with Fuchs Lubricants UK.

The agreement follows an exhaustive tender process and sees Fuchs replace Castrol as the lubricants supplier for Trade Parts Specialists’ (TPS) Quantum range of oils.

The resulting all-new Quantum oil range represents the most important product launch in TPS’ 10-year history and underlines TPS’ ambition to provide genuine parts and accessories for all Audi, Seat, Skoda and Volkswagen Passenger Cars and Commercial Vehicles.

Philip Taylor, Head of Business for TPS, says: “Fuchs’ is the world’s largest independent lubricant manufacturer and a class-leading operator and we’re thrilled to be announcing this partnership.

“Its UK facility in Stoke-on-Trent is a modern, bulk handling distribution centre, boasting a 120,000-tonne capacity and 99.5% on time in full delivery record.

Russell Kenyon, Fuchs Automotive director, said: “Fuchs is very proud to have been appointed by TPS. As a specified first fill provider to the factory, we have a rich history with Volkswagen Group and our exemplary track record for innovation.

“Through this new supplier partnership and the revised Quantum brand, the aftermarket can now also benefit from competitively priced latest technology oil that is manufactured in the UK and supported by a wealth of German technological innovation.”
