The most powerful Mondeo yet, the Zetec-S, will go on sale exclusively in the UK nex month, priced from £19,095 on-the-road.

It will be available in a choice of four-door, five-door and estate versions, each boasting a revised version of Mondeo's Duratec V6 engine, sports tuned suspension and electronic stability programme (ESP). It goes from 0-62mph in 8.7 seconds and has a top speed of 141mph.

Styling features include sports front and rear bumpers, side skirts, front fog lamps and standard 18-inch alloy wheels, with a choice of five or 10-spoke designs.

The Zetec-S (pictured) will be available with five-speed manual transmission, priced from £19,095 for the four and five-door and from £20,095 for the estate.
