AM Online

Do you live to work or work to live?

I don't know if you've seen it before, but in each issue of AM we put a burning question up on page 4 for all our staff to answer.

(See previous issues and you'll find out AM editor Stephen Briers is a post-hardcore punk music fan)

This issue it was: "If you weren't doing the job you're doing now, what would you be doing?"

So now I'm putting the question to you. Was it always your plan to be working within the motor industry? Could you ever do anything else? Do you live to work or work to live?

AM deputy editor Tim Rose was even pondering the idea of leaving AM to join a dealership for six months.

This would work either two ways. Secret Agent Tim could become our inside man and report all the goss on the industry - or he would be so bowled over by the astronomical pay packet (in comparison to a lowly journalist) that he would never come back.

Dealers that are interested in taking Tim on can contact me on and then I'll forward you his CV.
