Ford–Tourneo Connect

January 2014

The new Tourneo Connect and its seven-seat Grand Tourneo Connect are the first vehicles of their type Ford has offered in the UK. They provide generous seating and large boot space, with the longer wheelbase Grand model capable of providing up to 2620-litres of cargo space with all of its seats folded down.

Plenty of other practical elements are standard, such as the sliding rear doors, a hidden box set into the dash top with 12v charging socket, overhead aircraft-style locker and hidden storage in the second row footwells.

Power comes from Ford’s 1.0- and 1.6-litre EcoBoost engines. The 1.0-litre offers 50.4mpg average economy and 129g/km CO2 emissions, helped by stop/start and Active Grille Shutter that closes flaps in the front grille to improve engine warming and aerodynamics when required. The 148bhp 1.6 comes with a six-speed automatic gearbox as standard, while the 1.6 turbodiesel delivers 61.4mpg and 120g/km emissions.
