Kia–Optima

February 2014

A facelifted Kia Optima joins us in February with changes centring on the way the car drives and improving running costs. The 2.0-litre petrol and 1.7-litre turbodiesel remain, with the diesel now delivering 128g/km Co2 emissions when ordered with the ISG stop-start system. This model also now gives 57.6mpg average economy with the six-speed manual gearbox. A six-speed auto transmission is an option, with 47.1mpg and 158g/km. The auto now also has Drive-Mode-Select that allows the driver to choose between Normal, Sport and Eco settings. Changes the outside are limited to a light facelift, new 17- and 18-inch alloy wheels and an optional Sport Pack. Inside, there are small changes to the dash and new, larger main instruments.
