Kia–Sorento

Spring 2015

Longer, lower and wider, with an extended wheelbase, the all-new Sorento builds on the success of the current model, delivering more of a premium look and feel, with more space and new features.
The latest model has an around-view monitor, with four cameras helping the driver to manoeuvre when parking by displaying a birds-eye view of the vehicle on the dashboard display screen, and a smart power tailgate.
This system opens the tailgate automatically when the key is ‘sensed' in close proximity to the boot, so owners can put their shopping bags or heavy objects straight into the vehicle.

The front of the Sorento features a larger, more upright grille and long, swept-back headlamps. The lower roofline, higher beltline and more sculpted look give the Sorento greater presence than its predecessor.

All UK versions of the Sorento will come with three rows of seats as standard, and the 2.2-litre diesel engine.

New safety technology available on the Sorento includes, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, blind-spot alert, rear-cross traffic alert (which warns the driver of approaching traffic when reversing out or parking spaces) and road-sign recognition, which displays the speed limit in the driver’s information display.
