Big Cars will the big freeze reach its Witham showroom this winter as used car supermarket boss Adam Stott transforms the facility into an ice rink.

Stott will clear 15 display cars from the Crittall Road retail space to make way for a special winter wonderland event which aims to bring members of the public in to the business.

The free event will take place on December 10th and 11th and will include a Christmas market including food stalls from local producers, a Santa's Grotto, face painters, games and barn owls flying about the showroom.

Speaking to the Braintree and Witham Times, Stott said: “We can’t wait to welcome people from across the county to our Winter Wonderland, which promises to get visitors into a festive mood.”

Last year Big Cars hosted a low-key event at Christmas and attracted around 4,000 potential customers throughout the weekend.

Stott added: "As you’d expect with Big Cars, it will be a massive event with loads going on and we’ll be welcoming other businesses, offering locally made produce, in our Christmas market.

"It will top off another record breaking year for Big Cars, so it’s our way of saying thank you to the community we serve.”
