Aftersales Manager

Due to a recent promotion a rare and exciting opportunity has arisen with Sandown Motor Group for an experienced After Sales Manager at their retailer in Epsom.

The Company

Sandown Motor Group have over 30 years of experience, selling and servicing Mercedes-Benz cars. A privately owned group the Sandown name has an immensely proud heritage with Mercedes-Benz and means that they are experts in this iconic brand.  Their simple goal is to deliver the most outstanding service from each of their sites in Guildford, Basingstoke, Poole, Dorchester, Salisbury, Newbury, Hindhead and Epsom. 

The Role

Responsible for developing an After Sales strategy for the site, focusing on capturing all available revenue streams along with the development and utilisation of human resource to achieve the business objective.

Independently managing and developing a customer-oriented and profitable Aftersales business. This includes a high level of customer satisfaction and high yields for the department, develop and grow the Retail Parts Sales for the site to maximise parts profit and After Sales margin model.

Managing and developing all employees at the site, including STM’s, Service Advisers, and Technicians, Parts Supervisor and Driver / Cleaners and oversee the performance of any contracted Valet staff.

To deliver the Mercedes-Benz experience and maximise sales and profit opportunities through the delivery of the After Sales strategy and to always exceed customer expectations.

Ensuring all Mercedes-Benz UK standards are met, and legal regulations are complied with. Ensure that all standards and processes are adhered to in line with franchise contract arrangements.

About You

You will have previous After Sales Manager/Service Manager experience within the automotive industry, ideally Mercedes-Benz, however the business will also consider your application if you have a prestige automotive background.  You will have fantastic leadership qualities, along with excellent time management skills and be able to develop relationships effortlessly.

On Offer

Salary OTE £75,000 per annum, company Mercedes-Benz car, Managers Pension, Life Assurance, and above average holidays of 30 days per annum. Hours of work: Monday to Friday 0800-1800 (45-hour week)
