Salary: £14.00 - £16.00p/h

Hours: 08:00 - 18:00 (Flexibility on hours to suit the right candidate)

Igloo has a fantastic opportunity for a Vehicle Mechanic to work in a small village close to Lutterworth in Leicestershire. The successful candidate will be working for a private, family run garage with traditional values.

The role:

As a Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Advising on best methods of repair.
• Carrying out inspections, noting all areas requiring repair or service.
• Repairing vehicle faults as identified either by the checklist or during the repair process.
• Ensuring the efficient and effective use of workshop facilities and equipment.
• Providing complex diagnostics to a wide variety of vehicles.
• Ensuring workstations and preparation areas are clean and tidy at all times.
• Ensuring daily, weekly, monthly service and repair targets are met.

Essential qualities and requirements:

• Must hold a full UK Driving Licence.
• Must be able to demonstrate their knowledge and experience as a mechanic.
• Previous experience working in a similar role.
• High attention to detail and quality of work.
• Ability to work fast and efficiently.
